User Function Keys |
If Function Keys are enabled by your Supervisor, users are required to press a function key (Shift Start, Shift End, etc.) before punching the clock. This action alerts Vision as to the nature of your punch.
If Function Keys are disabled by your Supervisor, users are not required to press a function key (Shift Start, Shift End, etc.) before punching the clock. Vision applies the punch as it relates to your schedule.

If Function Keys are enabled by your Supervisor, you may have access to additional functions, namely F6 though F8. These extended functions are determined by your Company Administrator in Punch Action Configuration.
For example, if the Company Administrator defines F6 as "tips", and Work Code Mode 1 is set, the user can enter tips using a combination of a function key and a work code.

If the Company Administrator defined F7 as "tips", enter your Work Code (tips) by pressing , then enter the amount using the number keys (0-9).
If the Company Administrator defined F8 as "tips", enter your Work Code (tips) by pressing , then enter the amount using the number keys (0-9).
Note
The Work Code field assumes two decimal places but cannot contain any formatting characters, such as dollar signs or decimal points. You must enter only numbers. Enter a dollar amount of 14.52 as "1452" . For a quantity of 170, enter 17000.
