Benefit Billing Rates

Clicking on the Benefit Billing Rates icon displays the Benefit Billing Rates page.

For an authorized user, this function provides billing details for the selected Plan as of the specified Effective Date (the date the fees take effect).

After Division Selection, select a Plan from the drop-down to view billing details for the plan.

Effective Date

The system displays billing information for the plan as of the specified date.  Enter the date directly in the text box or click to select the date from the pop-up calendar.

The system displays all billing rates in effect on or after the Effective Date.

Date Filter

When selected, displays all billing rates in effect on the specified Effective Date only.

In this example, applying the filter for an Effective Date of 01/01/2009 returned no results, since the only Effective Date for billing occurred on 7/22/2009.

Edit Rate

Clicking in the Plan row displays editable EE and ER Contribution fields.   Enter any changes directly in these fields – you do not have to access the Fees tab of Benefit Setup or the Benefit Rule Management function where the contributions were originally set up.

Click to store you changes.

Note

A change to a plan’s benefit rate automatically updates the rate for active deductions assigned to enrolled employees when the Sync Deduction flag is set.  In addition, the system records the change in Benefit History for all employees in the plan.

Generate Rate Scenarios
