Benefit Billing Adjustments

 

Clicking on the Benefit Billing Adjustments icon displays the Benefit Billing Adjustments page.  

 

This function allows an authorized user to create a billing adjustment to a benefit plan for an employee.

 

 

After Division Selection, select the Plan to be adjusted.

 

Once you select the Plan, the system displays a list of all employees in the Plan.

Click to view the employee's plan details and enter an adjustment.

 

Select a Reason for the Adjustment.

 

 

Enter the Start Date of the Billing Period.

Note

Billing Adjustments may be created for any billing period.

 

The default Adjustment Date is the current date.  You may enter a different date or select it from the pop-up calendar.

 

 

Enter the amount of the Adjustment in the related text box.

 

Enter the End Date of the Billing Period.

 

Click to store the Adjustment.

All current adjustments for the Employee are displayed.

Attachments

The Attachments tab displays a list of adjustments with attachments.

 

Click to display current attachments to a billing adjustment.

Attachments are maintained as described in My VIP:

To add an attachment to an adjustment, click .

To view an attachment, click .  

To edit the Heading or Description, click .

To delete, click .
