Employee Single Entry

 

This function displays several tabs (Main, Notes, Picture, Wage & Hour, and Other) for recording personal identification information such as SSN, birthday, full name, address, picture, etc. It allows authorized users to enter only the most relevant new hire data in a single entry screen containing five tabs, in lieu of using the employee wizard.  All information is updated automatically in Vision.

 

Clicking on the Employee Single Entry icon displays the Single Entry page where you must first select the desired Division, after which the system displays the available tabs.

 

Permissions

To utilize this function, the appropriate permissions must be assigned to the employee’s role by the Company Administrator.  Using Role Management, edit the Role(s) you wish to access the Single Entry function.  

 

The needed permission for Employee Single Entry is available for selection under the View application.

You must, of course, have permission for View to access this function.

 

You will also need one or more of the underlying permissions available for accessing employee data, such as the Employee Wizard, Employee Profile, Employee@Division, etc.

If you have Display permission for Employee Single Entry, but no underlying permissions for employee data, no divisions are available for selection.
