Vital Signs - COBRA

 

Configuration Tab

Select COBRA from the Work Flow drop-down to configure reminders for each step in the process.

 

Configurations

Available configurations, if any, are selectable from the drop-down.

  • Event

An occurrence that effects employee benefit plan eligibility.

 

 

 

 

Displays available Options.

 

  • Event Date

Duration after termination date to set COBRA event date  

 

 

Displays available Options.

(default=0).

 

Duration to update the record after the Frequency (due date for employee action) has passed.

 

 

Displays available Options.

(default=0).

 

Frequency Tab

The Frequency tab determines how often to notify specified users for each step in the workflow.

 

Click  to display the available options and enter the desired frequency.  

 

  • COBRA Eligibility

Make terminated Employee eligible for a Plan.

 

 

  • Initial Letter

Check if initial letter was sent to the employee (default=14 days).

 

  • Participant Response

Process participant response (default=1 month + 14 days).

 

Check if initial payment was received (default=2 months + 1 day).

 

Monitor payment according to billing cycle (default=30 days).

 

Important

The Billing Cycle specified in the Fees tab will override any conflicting entry in this workflow.

  • Payment

Monitor payment according to billing cycle (Duplicate needed for recursion) (default=30 days).

 

Notifications Tab

Determines which user(s) receive notification and how they receive the notification.  The current settings for all employees are shown.

Turns dashboard and e-mail notifications ON.

 

Turns dashboard and e-mail notifications OFF.

 

Allows you to make individual selections  for Dashboard and E-mail options.

Even if Display in Dashboard is selected, users must still have the underlying permission (see below) to see notification in their Dashboards.

  • To make changes to the workflow.

  • For users to see notification in their Dashboards.
